Farm Unlimited, a forestry project assistance firm in southwestern Oregon, is stewarding responsible forestry and business practices. After winning the best early-stage business award at Impact Pitch 2020, owner Eric Farm strengthened the business further. "We are continuing to invest in our employees, grow our client base, and assist landowners with their forestry projects. We are solidifying our place in the market as a leading forestry consulting company in southwestern Oregon," shares Eric.
Looking Back on the Year
The small Farm Unlimited team has managed multiple projects and a challenging environment. From forest fires to the pandemic, running a business wasn't easy over the past 18 months. Despite the odds, they survived and invested. They appraised over $2 million of timber and timberland across Oregon. They designed and oversaw timber sales generating over $6 million in revenue for their clients. And, they assisted with timberland transfers valued at over $2 million. "Our team is what makes us best in class. The attention to customer needs and outcomes has had numerous positive results. We are proud to work in a field that allows us to steward Oregon’s beautiful natural resources."
Looking back, two of the biggest accomplishments involved staff and expertise. Eric was able to keep staff on full-time through the pandemic. The company didn't reduce hours or headcount. In addition, they invested in Extremely High Precision GPS equipment. This tool helps them to very accurately identify project boundaries and assist with stream crossing designs.
