Idaho Women's Business Center Program Director
Position Summary
The Idaho Women’s Business Center is a program of Business Impact NW and is part of a national network of more than 175 Small Business Administration (SBA) Women's Business Centers (WBCs) throughout the United States and its territories, which are designed to assist women in starting and growing small businesses. WBCs seek to "level the playing field" for women entrepreneurs, who still face unique obstacles in the business world. The Idaho Women’s Business Center provides entrepreneurs and small business owners (especially women who are economically or socially disadvantaged) with comprehensive training and counseling/coaching on a variety of topics in several languages.
The Women’s Business Center (WBC) Program Director is responsible for the implementation, management, and general outreach of the program objectives. The Program Director works closely with community partners to establish and maintain trusted relationships. The Program Director is responsible for the quality delivery of programming that provides business development services and resources to nascent, emerging, and established women entrepreneurs, including those that are economically and socially disadvantaged. The ideal candidate has extensive business, administrative, and financial experience and possesses strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
Must be a resident of Idaho State (position can be based in the Boise/Nampa/Southern Idaho area and will require up to 20% in-state travel)
