Mid-Session Event in Review

The mid-session event commenced on October 19th at Tabor 100 in Tukwila with a panel presentation featuring experts from the Port of Seattle. The panel provided an overview of the airport operations and shared insights into capital improvements planned for the next five years. Attendees learned about the Port's vision, strategies, and opportunities for small businesses to be a part of this dynamic industry.

The opportunity for networking was another vital component of the event. Cohorts, mentors, and panelists exchanged experiences, ideas, and contacts, leading to a sense of community and collaboration. The lively atmosphere filled with energy and enthusiasm made the three-hour event fly by – a testament to the commitment, passion, and dynamism of our small business community.

As these 12 businesses continue through the Port of Seattle Business Accelerator program, making connections with mentors and industry experts, they are not only investing in the success of their own businesses, but also contributing to the growth and diversity of their industries in Seattle. We look forward to seeing how they will grow and increase their positive impact on the local economy and community.
