Building Small Business Success in the Military-Connected Community

National Veterans Small Business Week is happening from November 1st - 4th! This year, we're hosting a week of webcasts dedicated to supporting Veteran-owned and other military-connected businesses through Operation Entrepreneur. This week of webcasts will feature knowledge in social media marketing, government contracts, finance, and more.

Most importantly, we'd like to feature and celebrate the following small businesses in the military-connected community. Here are hints of advice from a few of them:

Advice: Use Your Unique Skills for Every Challenge

Mary Stange, Operating Director at Ponte Travels, will be joining us as a speaker this year. She is a U.S. Navy Veteran that has built a business offering unforgettable trips. As a travel company, Mary cites feeling the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"As a travel company, [we] faced the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, I've had to employ many of those skills learned while in active service... I feel that Veteran business owners have a unique skill set and determination to make their business succeed."

Mary will be joining us to speak on Business Portability & E-Commerce. Come learn how you too can set up a business from home, or one that travels with you no matter where you go.
