Business Impact NW Partners with Association for Enterprise Opportunity and GoDaddy
Partnership provides underserved entrepreneurs access to critical digital marketing tools
Seattle, Wash. – August 7, 2019 – Business Impact NW, the nonprofit providing financial and technical support to underserved entrepreneurs throughout the Pacific Northwest, is excited to announce a new program, Empower by GoDaddy in partnership with AEO. Engaging a curriculum created by GoDaddy and the Association for Enterprise Opportunity (AEO), the social impact program offers entrepreneurs free training, tools and coaching in an effort to accelerate their small businesses in the digital sphere. Facilitated by the Washington Women’s Business Center housed at Business Impact NW, courses are offered both online and in-person and will explore website creation, e-commerce, social media and email marketing. Additionally, participating entrepreneurs will have access to free digital products to establish an online presence.
“Creating and maintaining a digital presence is crucial to modern small business owners,” said Business Impact NW Executive Director, Joe Sky-Tucker. “We are excited to work with AEO and GoDaddy to provide our entrepreneurs with the digital marketing tools that will help their businesses thrive online and in their local communities.”
“GoDaddy knows that inclusive entrepreneurship fuels local economies, ultimately improving lives,” said Stacy Cline, Director of Corporate Citizenship at GoDaddy. “We believe that anyone, anywhere should have an equal opportunity to make their entrepreneurial dreams a reality. But we also know that some people don’t have access to the right tools and support to get them going. For the last two years, we’ve worked hard to bring this program to more entrepreneurs and we are excited to expand our impact with AEO. Empower by GoDaddy seeks to find solutions that are tailored for each community. We are thrilled to use our knowledge and resources to help underserved entrepreneurs in a way that makes a lasting impact.”
