Business Impact NW is proud to sponsor Camp Thundercraft, a three-day small business retreat at Camp Sealth on Vashon Island from April 12-14 for anyone interested in building their small creative business. “Camp Thundercraft aims to create a space where small creative business owners can come together to learn from one another, inspire each other to continue down our own creative paths, and connect with one another to learn better business practices for themselves.”
Whether you are a maker of jewelry, clothing, food, or even run a consulting business, there’s something for you at this retreat. Camp Thundercraft will host a few crafty classes where attendees can learn a new skill such as cross-stitch and mending. Robert Mahar from the NBC hit series, Making It will be the retreat’s keynote and teach an embroidery class. And amongst their business workshops for creatives, include classes on SEO, marketing your brand through Instagram, Shopify, “Ask-A-Retailer,” the best tools and apps for the creative side-hustle, as well as a course entitled “Money Matters,” led by Business Impact NW’s Veteran Business Outreach Center Program Director, Domonique Juleon.
“We are thrilled that Business Impact NW’s very own, Domonique Juleon will be coming to teach a class Money Matters to our campers,” says Kristen Rask, President of Urban Craft Uprising, the host of Camp Thundercraft. “We look forward to a wonderful new relationship!”
