Janel serves as the Incubator Kitchen Manager & Business Advisor at Business Impact NW, supporting food-based entrepreneurs from startup through growth. She guides clients in developing business plans and financial statements, supports them through the loan application process, and helps them navigate the permitting and licensing requirements needed to operate successfully. She works closely with clients, King County Public Health, and the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) to help businesses obtain proper permits and be prepared to operate. Drawing on her experience in the culinary industry, Janel also provides guidance in commercial kitchen operations, production, and business development, contributing to the continued success of the Incubator Kitchen program.
