This month Susan Perreault, Program Director of the Washington Women’s Businses Center at Business Impact NW presented with small business leader and SVP Roby Schapira of Wells Fargo at the NAWBO conference in Spokane, WA. The duo teamed up for a presentation titled “Growing Your Business by Knowing Its Lifecycle.” Roby and Susan’s partnership was a natural fit. Combining their expertise they discussed the best ways to support the growth of local small business owners. Emma an artist from Ink Factory complimented their conversation with a visual representation of a business lifecycle. From the illustration, “work with mentors,” “collaborate with your community” and “have a good support network” were key takeaways for how to support a budding business.
Business Impact NW is excited to have another opportunity to collaborate with Wells Fargo. We are a proud recipient of a Wells Fargo Foundation grant that will support our Launch & Grow program, a series designed to help participants build a complete business plan for success, including financials, market research, a marketing plan and more. The grant from the foundation will provide class scholarships to those in need.
