She holds a medical degree from Bangalore University in India and a master’s degree in public health from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Previously, Dr. Dawood held the position of Chief of Staff for the Office of the Chairman, Fulton County Board of Commissioners, where she played a pivotal role in securing $9,000,000 in project funding over three years. She has also received proclamations from the Georgia State House of Representatives and the City of Atlanta, acknowledging her as a trailblazer for supporting small and medium-sized businesses in securing government contracts.
