Instructor Bio:

DARREN GUYAZ – Senior Business Consultant
Darren has been helping entrepreneurs pursue their dreams since 2014. He focuses on individualized one-on-one coaching, tailoring his style to fit the needs of the client to help them move forward in their own venture. In addition to providing guidance through core business concepts, he also approaches coaching sessions from a soft skills perspective, giving insight into some of the essential traits needed to be successful, including interpersonal (people), communication, listening, problem-solving, leadership, creativity, and empathy.
He has an MBA in Sustainable Entrepreneurship, an MS in Environmental Studies/Writing and has founded five start-ups over the past twelve years, including a freelance writing/photography business, two concert production companies, and an international touring folk band. He currently runs DRYFT Music, a concert production company in Seattle that produces intimate concerts in unique venues, with the core mission of supporting up-and-coming singer/songwriters and changing the paradigm of live music in the Pacific NW. He is also currently launching his own solo music project.
