Social Investing with Business Impact NW

Social investments are investments made into companies, organizations, and funds with the intention to generate social and environmental impact alongside a financial return.

The impact investing market offers diverse and viable opportunities for investors to advance social and environmental solutions through investments that also produce financial returns.

People like you! Impact investment has attracted a wide variety of investors, both individual and institutional. The common funder is someone who would like to make a positive impact on their community, and might have considered making a donation, but in this case, would rather make in investment that guarantees returns and allows for similar positive change.

Business Impact NW provides lending capital to underserved entrepreneurs using a rigorous vetting process, much like local banks and credit unions. As a certified CDFI, USDA, SBA and 7(A) lender, we loan funds to qualified individuals who in most cases are unable to gain financing for their business startup or growth from traditional lending sources. When the loan is repaid, you will receive your investment back with interest.

Here at Business Impact NW, interest is paid back to you quarterly with a balloon payment at the end of the term. On average, term is a 2-year $10,000 investment minimum with a 2% yield.

Yes! We are proud of the fact that we have a 100% Success Rate in repaying our investors.

Social Investments have, on average, a 2% yield. Yield is negotiable at time of investment.

If you are interested in pursuing a social investment with Business Impact NW, please contact Executive Director Joe Sky-Tucker today at 206-605-4122. Terms are negotiable as situation permits.
