Small Business, Big Impact: We grow businesses that create jobs in underserved communities

End of Year Support

There are so many way to get involved in supporting your local communities through small business:

  • Donate to support Business Impact NW services for entrepreneurs: classes, coaching, and access to capital for women, veterans, communities of color, immigrants, LGBTQ+!
  • Shop Local this Holiday Season from a collection of our client business success stories.  Check out the PNW, Puget Sound, and Seattle Maps (plus online retailers, too)!
  • Come to our Holiday Party: December 13th from 2-4pm at Standard Brewing in Seattle.  Meet the magic makers and network with other entrepreneurs.
  • Volunteer.  We are always looking to add people to our team, from interns to Business Experts teaching special sessions, office and event help to mentors, board members, and committee members.  We're a non-profit, so our work starts with you.

Donate

Your donations help fund everything from free technical assistance (business consulting) for entrepreneurs, to accessible financing, resources, classes, and even scholarships. Your support makes our work possible.

Sponsor or Partner

Sponsors invest in their community by providing funding for Business Impact NW programs, classes and events, such as Launch & Grow, IMPACT Pitch, Celebrating Dreams and the Veterans in Business Symposium, in return for marketing and other benefits.
Partners work with Business Impact NW to refer clients, services, and resources mutually.

Volunteer

Volunteer oppotunities range from expects in specific business fields to community members who are willing to simply give back. Including:
  • Business Expert Instructing a Class
  • Mentoring a Small Business Owner
  • Serving on our Board or Committees
  • Successful Entrepreneur Mentoring an Aspiring Entrepreneur
  • Administrative Office Assistance as needed
  • Event Staffing, including Setup, Teardown, and Duration Activities

Intern

Each year, Business Impact NW offers a limited number of internship opportunities to students and community members. Opportunities include Portfolio Management, Administrative Assistance, Communications and Article Contribution

Donate In-Kind

BIN is always looking to partner with people and businesses as in-kind donors of things like event support (catering, A/V, venue space), office support (new computers, office furniture, tech support, nonprofit discount services) and more. If you are interested in donating an item or service, contact us today.

Invest in Microlending

With returns on your investment, this is a way to make a big difference for our clients while increasing your own finances. By lending funds to Business Impact NW, our organization then provides affordable lending to traditionally underserved peoples at no risk to you. This is a great way to make a community impact through socially responsible investing.
