DESCRIPTION:This presentation is designed for emerging producers who are preparing to bring their products into the grocery retail space. We will cover the key elements needed to ensure your product is truly retail-ready\, from operational basics to what buyers look for when evaluating new brands. \nThe session is intended for passionate makers who are committed not only to creating great products\, but also to actively supporting their success through sampling\, in-store presence\, and promotional efforts.  We will discuss the importance of doing your homework before approaching retail buyers and building a product that is positioned for success. This includes focusing on three critical areas: \nInnovation – What makes your product new\, different\, or exciting for customers \nViability – Your ability to produce\, deliver\, and sustain the product in a retail environment \nPackaging – Shelf-ready design that communicates value and stands out in store Buyers ultimately look for products that meet real consumer needs and expectations.
