About the Presenters:

Shana Barehand is the Business Diversity and Outreach Manager for Washington State Department of Enterprise Services. Shana leads the state’s effort to procure goods and services from small, diverse, and veteran owned businesses by changing the culture of procurement and creating a pipeline of small, diverse, veteran-owned businesses who are eligible to contract with the state.

Tiffany Scroggs is program director for the Washington Procurement Technical Assistance Center, known as PTAC.  PTAC provides no-cost technical assistance to businesses across the state on how to succeed in the government marketplace.  Her mission is to increase the number of government contracts that are awarded to Washington State firms.  Each year, businesses who worked with PTAC win $300 million in government contracts and subcontracts.
