Empower by GoDaddy Program Steps 

Step 1: Register for Empower by GoDaddy: Getting Your Business Online: Building Your Website/Ecommerce Store 

Step 2: Register on the Online Learning Platform and complete the Kickoff Survey 

Step 3: Complete at least two of the three requirements: 

Option #1: Publish website in the 2022 Empower Program

• 2 years free domain (.com, .org) and free website hosting 
• GoDaddy website builder, ecommerce or basic managed WordPress 

Option #2: Complete the training modules in the bundle Getting Your Business Online: Building Your Website/Ecommerce Store (Online learning platform. Recommended timeline: 1-5 weeks)

Design a great website – Understand the benefits of having a website and best practices for creating a visually appealing and effective website 

Creating your site content – Understand how to express your brand identity and communicate essential information through your website and plan key content for your website 

Creating your eCommerce presence – Know how to optimize your homepage around drawing customers into your online store and best techniques for selling online 

Option #3: Meet with a free GoDaddy Mentor/Coach (3 options) 

• #1: After completing 5 GoDaddy training modules in the 2022 Empower program schedule and complete a free one-on-one session with a website expert/mentor. 
• #2: Schedule and complete a free session with MicroMentor – a community of entrepreneurs and volunteer business mentors. 
• #3: Schedule and complete a free Virtual GoDaddy mentor coaching session. 25-minute sessions are available on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays April – December 2022. 

Step 4: Complete Course Completion Survey
Entrepreneurs who complete program will receive additional free and discounted products: 

• One professionally branded email account free for two years 
• Entrepreneurs are enrolled in Empower discount program and receive 50% off future Empower product renewals for 6 years after the program if they complete all program requirements
