Financial Business Resiliency: Understanding the Financial Impacts – Join our expert panel as they provide the information you need for financial business resiliency in the face of changing circumstances: Understanding financial impacts, managing business finances, cash flow planning, credit-building, financial relationships, and the importance of insurance coverage.
Tina Narron, Verity Credit Union, Chief Lending Officer and WWBC Advisory Board Member
Tina joins Verity with a wealth of experience in the financial services industry. She started her career as a teller and has worked her way up through senior lending positions before ending up in executive leadership. In addition to managing all aspects of lending for billion-dollar loan portfolios, Tina has also helped lead organizational and cultural transformations at credit unions to improve member service.
In her role as Chief Lending Officer, Tina believes that her team is essential to helping people achieve their dreams. As such, she is responsible for contributing to the development of loan products and services and equipping her lending team with the tools they need to be successful.
Christine Buckley, Washington Women’s Business Center, COVID-19 Response Team Member
Christine has been an advisor to small businesses through her work with several Puget Sound area Women’s Business Centers as well as her private consultancy. Her beginning in entrepreneurship began with helping her father in his second career in corporate travel, then with a family business in Spain and several businesses while raising her two boys. Christine was involved in operations to launch a solar industry start-up. She has brought her hands-on knowledge to thousands of clients, from helping them build a sustainable model to dealing with day to day operations. She enjoys assisting clients with financial literacy, cash flow and financial statement analysis. Christine integrates her degrees in International Relations, Sociology and Public Administration into her advising, resulting in a positive connection and relationship with her clients which include the LatinX community, women, minorities and veterans.
Yolanda Hawkins, Business Impact NW, Microloan Officer
Born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico. Immigrated to the US as a young adult, Yolanda’s first office job was with a small non-profit organization in Albuquerque, NM (where she lived for over 20 years). It was then that Yolanda developed a passion for helping underserved communities. She has over 15 years combined experience between mortgage financing and small business financing. Yolanda holds an associate degree in psychology, and has managed her own business. This education and experience helped Yolanda understand the passion, and motivation that new entrepreneurs, and small businesses owners have.
