Business Expert Session presents Credit 101 for Business Owners with Galileo Tan of Harborstone Credit Union.
In this webinar, we’ll discuss how entrepreneurs, up-and-coming or already-in-business, can either build or re-build credit, sources of credit (loans, lines of credit, etc.) and financing and collections (collections and their effect on credit history, etc.).
Galileo Tan is a graduate from the University of Hawaii-Manoa where he majored in Marketing. During his time in college, he was an intern for Central Pacific Bank (CPB), a local community bank based in Honolulu. After graduating, Galileo joined CPB on a full-time basis holding a variety of positions including Business Banking Officer, Branch Manager and Relationship Banking Officer. Upon moving to Seattle, Washington in July 2014, Galileo joined Wells Fargo Bank first as a Personal Banker and later as a Business Banking Specialist. He joined Harborstone Credit Union in August 2018 where he works as a Project Manager for the credit union’s new Preferred Employer Program, which offers exclusive benefits to employees of the credit union’s business members. Galileo is responsible for the North District, which includes 7 branches.
